The Medical Council of Canada (MCC) Objectives for the Qualifying Examination identify knowledge, skills and behaviors expected of medical graduates.
The Objectives are organized around physicians’ roles as defined by the CanMEDS and CanMEDS-FM frameworks. These learning objectives act as a guide for candidates preparing for the MCC examinations. Since 2009, all of the objectives have been revised to ensure they are current, clear and in a consistent format. The Objectives are updated periodically with the revision dates noted.
